STAND for People & Planetary Health
Systems Transformation for Accessible Nature-based Delivery
We are living in a time where mental health challenges and climate disruption are rising together. Alongside this, we are witnessing something equally powerful… a growing recognition that human health and planetary health are inseparable.
NatureFix exists at this intersection.
We believe that when people connect with nature in meaningful, structured ways, nervous systems regulate, resilience strengthens, and relationships with the natural world grow.
From that relationship comes care. Care for self, for community, and for the ecosystems that sustain us.
This is where personal resilience meets ecological resilience.
Partner with Us to Restore the Health of People and Planet
Our Commitment
If we are serious about addressing the climate and wellbeing crises, nature connection must be recognised as a validated public health and environmental intervention, embedded into education, policy and planning as a measurable marker of change.
NatureFix is supporting a growing international movement to make this possible.
Underpinned by research, proven in practice, and strengthened by a growing alliance of health, environmental and cultural leaders, we are working to scale solutions that restore both people and planet.
This APP is just a gem
it completely changed my life!
Rather than a device coming between us and nature - NatureFix is a guide back into the natural world.
A Collaboration Already Underway
This is not just a vision. It’s already in motion.
We have delivery partners in place, spanning Indigenous health services, public hospitals, allied health providers, education, businesses and land care organisations - across both government and non-government sectors. From urban centres to regional and remote communities, our work is guided by collaboration, cultural respect, and a commitment to meeting community needs.
I have to be honest, the idea of having Elders involved in making recordings as a way to share story of significance and connection to Country, raises the hair on the back of my neck, so exciting!

Why NatureFix?
NatureFix connects people with nature using simple, science-backed techniques that reduces stress and anxiety, regulates the nervous system, and builds emotional resilience.
At the heart of our program is the NatureFix 5 Steps to Connect Delivery Model - a trauma-informed, research-backed framework that guides people through meaningful, sensory-rich experiences in nature. This approach makes nature-based interventions more predictable, accessible, and effective, while also strengthening people’s relationship with the natural world.
This means NatureFix has a dual impact: it improves health for individuals while also supporting health for the planet. By helping people build a personal bond with nature, the program actively facilitates pro-environmental actions – from small daily choices that reduce impact, to community-level efforts in stewardship and conservation. In this way, NatureFix contributes not only to personal resilience, but also to the resilience of ecosystems and the broader climate challenge.
Importantly, the 5-Step Framework is designed to integrate seamlessly into mental health, primary care, allied health, land care through to schools, universities and corporate wellbeing services. It equips practitioners, managers and individuals with a structured tool to confidently guide nature connection as part of holistic care and learning – recognising that human wellbeing and planetary wellbeing are deeply interconnected.
NatureFix guided activities are so simple and practical that I now use them everywhere I go. This program is unlike any other - it doesn’t just show you what to do, it explains why and how each activity supports your wellbeing, giving it incredible long-term value. I now feel full and connected to nature in a way I cannot quite describe. Thank you NatureFix.”
