NatureFix Privacy Policy

At NatureFix, we believe connecting with nature should not require giving away your privacy.
NatureFix has been designed using the principles of Privacy by Design and data minimisation. We intentionally collect as little information as possible so you can enjoy the app without creating an account or sharing personal information.
What NatureFix Does
NatureFix provides guided nature connection activities that support general wellbeing.
NatureFix is not a medical service or medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor physical or mental health conditions and is not a substitute for professional healthcare.
The app allows you to search for topics such as stress, anxiety or low mood to help you find relevant nature activities. These searches are not recorded or linked to you.
Information We Do Not Collect
NatureFix does not require you to create an account.
NatureFix creates an anonymous user profile for you, to store your preferences and to allow you to identify and delete content that you have contributed.
We do not collect or store:
your name
your email address
your phone number
your postal address
your contacts
your photographs or photo library
your microphone recordings
advertising identifiers
payment or credit card information
Purchases and subscriptions are securely managed by Apple App Store and Google Play. NatureFix does not receive or store your payment details.
Location Services
Some NatureFix Trails include activities that are triggered by your location.
If you choose to use these trails, NatureFix will ask your permission to access your device's location.
Your location is used only to:
identify where you are on a NatureFix Trail
unlock location-based activities
provide the correct content for that location
NatureFix does not use your location to:
build a history of where you have been
track your movements
profile your behaviour
provide advertising
sell your location information
Your location is used only while you are using a location-enabled NatureFix Trail and is not retained as a history of your movements.
You can turn location permissions on or off at any time in your device settings.
Thank You Notes to Nature
NatureFix includes an optional community feature where you can anonymously publish a Thank You Note to Nature.
When you submit a note we store only:
the text of your note
the date and time it was submitted
an automatically generated Note ID
Notes are published anonymously.
Please do not include:
your name
another person's name
addresses
telephone numbers
email addresses
health information
or any information that could identify yourself or another person.
Before publishing a note you will be asked to confirm that you understand your note will be publicly visible.
You may delete your own note at any time.
Any user may report a note that contains inappropriate or personal information.
NatureFix reserves the right to remove notes that contain personal information, offensive material, unlawful content or spam.
Technical Information
To help us keep NatureFix running reliably, we may receive anonymous technical information if the app crashes or experiences an error.
This information may include:
device model
operating system version
app version
technical error information
This information is used only to diagnose problems and improve the reliability of the app.
It is never used to identify you or build a personal profile.
Apple Mindful Minutes
We collect your mindfulness minutes using HealthKit and Apple Health
How We Use Information
The limited information processed by NatureFix is used only to:
deliver location-based NatureFix Trail activities
publish anonymous Thank You Notes
maintain app security
investigate technical problems
improve app reliability
NatureFix does not:
sell your information
use your information for advertising
profile your behaviour
create marketing profiles
share your information with advertisers
International Processing
Some technical service providers used by NatureFix may process limited technical information on secure servers located outside your country.
Where this occurs, NatureFix uses service providers that provide appropriate safeguards for personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
know how your information is used
request deletion of information you have submitted
withdraw your consent for location services
lodge a complaint with your local privacy authority
Because NatureFix does not collect names or email addresses, phone numbers, addresses or dates of birth we cannot identify users by personal details.
If you have published a Thank You Note, you can remove it directly within the app.
Deleting the app removes information stored locally on your device.
Children's Privacy
NatureFix may be used by children, including in educational settings.
Children should not include personal information in Thank You Notes.
Where required by local law, children should use location-enabled features under the supervision of a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as NatureFix evolves.
The latest version will always be available within the app.
